Wouldn’t you love to own this beautiful Le Creuset Caribbean Blue 2-Quart Batter Bowl?

I thought so!

This giveaway is sponsored by the generous folks at CSNstores.com. I had such a difficult (but totally enjoyable) time figuring out the item to giveaway because there were so many great products to choose from – from cookware to speaker stands and everything in between – but I finally settled on this Le Creuset bowl because it’s something you can literally use every single day.

How to Enter

There are three ways to enter. Each option gives you an additional entry and thus a greater chance of being chosen as the winner!

1. Leave a comment on this post. You can just say hi, you can tell me what you’re going to cook when you get this bowl, or you can tell me your views on the whole Toilet Paper: Under vs. Over controversy. Just make sure to leave your correct info in the proper comment fields.

2. Tweet to your followers about the giveaway then leave another comment on this post that includes your twitter name. Just copy and paste the text below into your Twitter update (private Twitter feeds not allowed):

Enter to win a Le Creuset 2 QT Batter Bowl from @megankatauskas here: http://tinyurl.com/lcgiveaway Please RT!

3. Mention the contest on your blog and include a link back to this entry. Then leave another comment with a link to your blog post.

The most crucial thing to remember is to make sure you leave a SEPARATE COMMENT for each option because the winner will be chosen using my good friend the Random Number Generator and, obviously, the more comments you leave the better your chances!

Contest is open until May 14th 11:59pm EST . Winner will be announced Saturday May 15th. Good luck!

(3 entries max per person)

P.S. A little food p0rn to show off my treat this afternoon; a hot cup of coffee (in my beloved Van Gogh Starry Night mug that I’ve owned for years and use every time I visit my parents) and a scrumptious Molten Chocolate Cake. Delicious.

    dearest meg,

i would very likely use such a magnificent bowl for baking as that is my specialty. the handy pouring spout would be perfect for, well, pouring, most likely a rich cake batter into a loaf pan or other kinds of baking pans. and then i would magically send you pieces of said cakes or breads to taste. thank you for your consideration.

    love always,
    joshua

  240. mimi on May 8, 2010 6:27 am

Getting married soon and need things that will help me in the kitchen. They say the way to a mans heart is through his stomach. Le Creuset lead the way!

  241. George on May 8, 2010 9:02 am

What great display piece for our kitchen or I can use it.

  242. Kayleigh on May 8, 2010 10:53 am

    That color is so beautiful!

  243. Molly on May 8, 2010 11:04 am

I used to be passionately “over” on the TP issue, and then I got a cat who killed an entire roll of toilet paper by unrolling it with her little paws. My sister, a fellow cat owner, told me that if you become an “under,” the cat won’t be able to unroll the entire thing and decorate the room with it. As long as you don’t leave a tail hanging out, it really works. So I have some self-loathing about it, but I’m an “under” now that cats are involved.

  244. Sand on May 8, 2010 11:10 am

I’d make buttermilk blueberry pancakes from scratch of course.

  245. Bev on May 8, 2010 11:30 am

I love that blue color! It is perfect for both cooking AND displaying.

  249. Karyn on May 8, 2010 4:25 pm

Oh WOW. I would totally use this for making pancakes – the spout is perfect for pouring them onto the griddle to cook. The colour is just delicous.

  250. Nic on May 8, 2010 5:14 pm

I’ve been craving waffles with fresh berries so that’s probably the first thing I’d fill that lovely bowl with. Though that molten cake you have pictured above looks mighty tempting as well.

I do have a peeve, it’s just a little different from the norm: I don’t care which way the toilet paper goes, as LONG AS THERE IS TOILET PAPER TO ROLL. Empty toilet paper rolls make me grumpy.

    =P Nic

  251. Callah Antonetti on May 8, 2010 5:20 pm

A single girl has got to stock her kitchen somehow!

  252. Nhiro on May 8, 2010 5:40 pm

    I would love this, because:
    A) Blue is my favorite color (besides red)
    B) I’m a poor college student who can’t afford pretty things from Le Creuset
    C) I’m a beast in the kitchen

    (:

  253. RAchael Tycoles on May 8, 2010 5:59 pm

    Hi there!
I would make my mother’s fabulous pancake recipe with this beautiful piece of art.

And marinate cut up chicken in buttermilk, fresh thyme, paprika,
    cayenne, lemon juice.

And leave it out in the open so people can ooh and ahhh over it.
